June 5 – Annual WSN meeting and scholarship awards evening

Please join us June 5th from 6-9pm for the Annual WSN meeting and scholarship awards evening.

It’s hard to believe that the end of another WSN season draws near as we conclude the year with our annual meeting and scholarship awards presentation.

The Women's Success Network Founders’ Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to women wishing to advance or change their careers through education and training.

The scholarship is funded through the sale of raffle tickets at our monthly meetings, donations from WSN members, and other fundraising efforts such as this year’s AWESOME auction. Each year, applicants are asked to demonstrate their needs, to define their goals, and to explain how the money would be used.

In conjunction with the WSN Founders’ Scholarship Fund, Dean College and Fisher College also sponsor two specific awards for non-traditional student applicants who plan to attend Dean or Fisher either on a full- or part-time basis. In addition, Middlesex Savings Bank is donating $1000 to the WSN Founders’ Scholarship.

Our programming theme this year was Improving You and Your Business, but that sentiment shouldn’t stop now. We’re honored to have Bill Napolitano of the Institute for Business Excellence speak briefly about how we can carry the momentum we’ve gained into the summer months while the official WSN programming gets ready for the September 2013 meeting.

WEATHER POLICY: If the decision is made to cancel a WSN meeting due to extremely bad weather, the board will send an email to those registered for the meeting.  If the restaurant remains open during the storm, we are locked into the reservation and cannot provide refunds
